Ask ten people for the best Belgrade nightclubs and you’ll get ten different answers — because the right club depends on what you want to hear. Belgrade nightlife covers everything from house and R&B to disco classics and live Serbian music, and the venues are very different from each other. Here’s how to choose the best nightclub in Belgrade for your taste.
For R&B and hip-hop

The Bank is the name most locals give first: premium R&B and house nights, resident DJs and an elegant crowd. Lasta Club — the winter home of the famous Lasta splav — is all about R&B, hip-hop and regional hits.
Best for: groups who want a big party, birthdays, VIP tables.
For house and electronic music

HYPE in Savamala is built for house nights — tech house, deep house, disco & funk — with a strong sound system and a stylish crowd. In summer, Leto brings house and electronic sounds to the river, and Boho Bar on the Kalemegdan terrace is the place for deep and afro house at sunset.
Best for: music lovers, couples and anyone who prefers DJs over chart hits.
For commercial hits and a big-room party

Freestyler is one of Belgrade’s most iconic clubs: commercial house, R&B and regional hits, a huge crowd and plenty of international guests. In the colder months it moves indoors as Freestyler Winterstage. For disco and well-known party songs, Sloboda on Zemunski Kej is a guaranteed singalong.
Best for: first-timers, stag and hen groups, international visitors.
For live Serbian music

This is the part of Belgrade nightlife you won’t find anywhere else. Sipaj, Ne Pitaj is a modern kafana with top domestic performers and a party that peaks after midnight. Nacionalna Klasa at Ušće brings pop and folk-pop live acts, and restaurants like Temperament and Jelica combine dinner with live music.
Best for: celebrations, locals’ nights out and anyone who wants the real Belgrade experience.
Quick guide: which club is right for you?
R&B / hip-hop: The Bank, Lasta Club
House / electronic: HYPE, Leto, Boho Bar
Commercial hits: Freestyler, Sloboda
Live Serbian music: Sipaj, Ne Pitaj, Nacionalna Klasa, Temperament, Jelica
Note that some venues are seasonal: the splavs (Freestyler, Lasta Splav, Leto, Sloboda) are the summer scene, while Lasta Club and Freestyler Winterstage take over in the colder months. Each venue page on GuestList shows whether it’s open this week.
How to get in at Belgrade’s best clubs
Book a table. At the most popular clubs, a reserved table is the surest way in, especially for groups and on weekends.
Check the dress code. Most clubs ask for smart casual or elegant; sportswear is the most common reason to be turned away.
Mind the age limit. Most clubs are 21+, and door staff check ID.
Arrive on time. Tables are held for your reservation time.
